CSW Alumnus Designs Floors for New Taschen Store

CSW alumnus Jonas Wood '95 recently extended his artistic talents to floor design for an international art publisher's new store!

If you happen to find yourself in the historic city of Milan, Italy in the near future, wander over to the newly opened Taschen Store (Via Meravigli 17). Taschen, an art book publisher founded in 1980, recently opened a permanent, brick-and-mortar store in Milan, featuring several outstanding design aspects.

At the recent opening celebration for the multi-roomed store, "guests admired the Julius Shulman exhibition on the first floor, bringing together a selection of 18 prints, the prismatic Venetian terrazzo flooring by Jonas Wood, and the myriad of seminal Italian design pieces scattered throughout the store."
