The Maverick Lloyd Speaker Series Presents:
Youth-Powered Climate Justice with Our Children's Trust

You are invited to participate in an inspiring, action-oriented evening with Our Children’s Trust, a groundbreaking law firm that empowers youth to secure their legal rights to a safe climate.

    • Hear about Held v. State of Montana — the first constitutional climate case in history to go to trial — in which 16 youth successfully sued the state of Montana to protect their equal rights to a healthy environment, life, dignity, and freedom.
    • Join CSW’s IDEA Committee for a climate-focused action — led by students — that demonstrates the practice and power of activism in our everyday lives.
Learn more about the Maverick Lloyd Speaker Series established by Arthur Berndt '68.

This evening event is not part of Alumni Weekend but is open to the entire CSW Community, including alumni. Please register to attend.

    5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
    Valerie Room, Kluchman Building
    Hybrid event. Light refreshments.

Sherrill Bounell, Executive Assistant to the Head of School and self-professed "unofficial but enthusiastic school historian," will share the origin stories of some of our most iconic pieces of campus art. Inspired by a new student who inquired about installations around the quad, Sherrill dug into the history of some beloved campus artwork. Who knows, you might be in a position to fill in a few holes of information to add to CSW's knowledge of these pieces!

    Questions? Contact Roger Fussa.

    RSVP here!
