A Wall of Hope and Love – Creating a Collaborative Wall Art Collage with Tom Evans

Join Tom Evans for an all-ages family art project!

Working on squares of paper and cardboard, all participants are encouraged to create something that suggests “hope“ and/or “love”. The squares will be hung next to each other on the Red Wall, creating a large-scale collage/mural-like artwork.

We are living in chaotic and challenging times. The election will be just two weeks away. For many, the stakes of this election and the fate of the world can seem to be hanging in the balance. Focusing for an afternoon on themes of hope or love and creating a public display of those creations will be a great way to spend a couple of hours.

You could spend 30 seconds creating a word or quick sketch or 2 hours refining an idea. All creations will be hung together creating something bigger than any individual piece.

No skill is required. All materials will be provided.

It is happening Sunday, October 27, 1:00-4:00 pm, in and around the Art Building.
