    Spring Musical: The Prom

When Emma Nolan wants to bring her girlfriend to the High School Prom, the PTA cancels the dance to avoid any legal repercussions for preventing Emma from attending. Meanwhile, a Broadway production starring Barry Glickman and Dee Dee Allen closes early after a bad review in The New York Times. With their careers in decline, Barry, Dee Dee and their actor pals Trent and Angie go in search of a publicity stunt to regain their celebrity status. They choose Emma as their social justice cause celebre and travel to Indiana to save the Prom for James Madison High School and LGBTQIA+ students everywhere. But will they be able to change the community's hearts and minds?

This is a non-ticketed, general admission event.

    Lavender Ceremony

GSA, TAGS, and QPOC are happy to announce CSW's Second Lavender Graduation!

A Lavender Graduation is an LGBTQIA+ graduation celebration founded at the University of Michigan by Dr. Ronni Sanlo in 1995. Since then, Lavender Graduation has spread to several universities and colleges; it's intended to create an event that would bring together LGBTQIA+ students to celebrate each other, their hard work, and achievements. This is also a way for the school to honor LGBTQIA+ graduating seniors and their contributions to the CSW community.

We will celebrate Lavender Graduation on June 4th during lunch at the amphitheater (if it rains we will move to the Thompson Gallery.) Students & Faculty who identify as LGBTQ+ are welcome to attend. Seniors, please RSVP through this Google form so that we know how many will be attending plus any dietary restrictions we need to take note of. Graduating students will have the opportunity to pick up lavender pins that they can wear during graduation. Those who wish to stay anonymous can pick up pins in KB, Chris, or Adriel's offices.
