CSW Theatre: Behind the Curtain

If you've ever been to a theatre production at CSW, you know it's a spectacle to behold. The excellence of the acting, writing, set design, lighting, and costuming never fails to transport us deep into the lives of the stage characters and the worlds they inhabit. So convincing are the performances, that it's easy to lose sight of the incredible amount of work that goes into preparing shows of such caliber, especially if you've never participated in theatre yourself. In this weekly series, self-proclaimed theatre-novice Danya Tribuna '19 enters the world "behind the curtain," observing the CSW production of Urinetown from casting call to final production, giving us a view of the theatre that most people don't see.
