April 15: Forests and Coral Reefs

Hey!

Today was our first full day in Bocas Del Toro and after a tasty breakfast we were split into two groups, the first group went to the reef first and the second went to the forest! We hiked and snorkeled and learned a lot about the native wildlife here on the island! We came back to the dorms for an amazing lunch before we set back out, this time group one went to the forest and group two went to the water. It was absolutely incredible to see the rich wildlife here and in the reef! We returned for an equally incredible dinner and after we decided what we wanted to study for our research projects! We had so much fun today and can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring!

Hope you enjoyed our journey today as much as we did!
