  • Tough Loss in Season Opener

    Coach Alex Vinh
The Girls Varsity Tennis Team lost (4-1) in their first Independent Girl Conference (IGC) matchup on 4/2/25 against Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall (CHCH). The match was at CSW home courts at Brook Apartments on a cold cloudy day. Due to illnesses not everyone was able to play their peak and it affected our starting lineup. But many on the team stepped up and played the best they could. The format was 6 Game Pro Set, with 7 point tiebreaker at 5-5. CSW Lineup:

    1st Singles – Lyla Shin
    2nd Singles – McKenna Zhang
    3rd Singles – Lea Beauchesne
1st Doubles – Emily Tran & Hayley Roberts
2nd Doubles – Crystal Liu & Coco Chen
Exhibition Doubles - Nia Fifield & Yuma Hatori
