Saturday, February 8th

Hi! My name is Stella (‘25). Today was our first full Saturday! On the weekends, we typically have free time to do whatever we like. I spent my morning at home with my host mom since it was raining. We watched the news and ate crêpes! After lunch, I met up with some classmates to go ice skating. We then explored the nearby mall, which had lots of fun activities such as bowling, laser tag, rock climbing, and an IKEA. I then went back home to eat dinner with my host mom. We always end our meal with cheese and baguette, my favorite way to end the day. I’m so excited for tomorrow!

CSW—a gender-inclusive day and boarding school for grades 9-12—is a national leader in progressive education. We live out our values of inquiry-based learning, student agency, and embracing diverse perspectives in every aspect of our student experience. Young people come to CSW to learn how to learn and then put what they learn into action—essential skills they carry into their futures as doers, makers, innovators, leaders, and exceptional humans who do meaningful work in the world.
